From time to time, I also encounter young adult books with strong and fulfilling messages, like Steven Chbosky’s book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. I strongly resonate with his most celebrated quote, “We accept the love we think we deserve,” for one simple reason. The love we think we deserve is the love we are accustomed to.
