The Psychology of Intuition will guide you into a transformative journey that will lead you to self-discovery, healing, self-love, and ultimately, your intuition.
Tapping into psychological and spiritual principles, psychologist Sarah Peláez offers a user-friendly guide to help you unlock your intuition. Her approach combines psychodynamic techniques, like shadow work and dream interpretation, with cognitive-behavioral strategies. She also incorporates spiritual practices, such as meditation and mindfulness.
As you engage with each tool, you’ll discover a blend of personal anecdotes, real-life examples, and in-depth research, all meticulously crafted to unveil the scientific underpinnings of intuition. Peláez relies on insights from Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, central figures in the development of psychology as a science. She also provides a theoretical connection between intuition and both scientific and spiritual theories, including quantum physics and chakra healing.
For those intrigued by the scientific validation of intuition and eager to awaken their inner power, The Psychology of Intuition is your guiding light. Accessing your intuition will not only enhance your decision-making prowess but also connect you with the infinite source of love within, guiding you toward the realization of your life’s purpose.

“The Psychology of Intuition” is written for the new heart-based era as Pelaez seamlessly weaves ‘heavy’ topics like Jungian psychology and quantum physics into a user-friendly, easy to grasp guide for those who want guidance on how to access their inner power to live their life’s purpose. With poetic ease, Pelaez convincingly connects intuition to both science and spiritual theories – a niche of its own. I thought at 143 pages, the book would be a really quick read. I honestly didn’t expect to love the book as much as I did.
I found myself carefully reading and rereading every page carefully taking in all the content.
I think the title “The Psychology of Intuition” is a bit of an under sell and the book is so much more!
I think a more appropriate title would be something along the lines of “The Psychology of living a stress free life” or something like that.
It’s full of useful information to help you live a more calmer, stress free life.
If you are going through anything in life- losing a loved one, divorce, self doubt, mid life crisis, job change etc that is causing you mental unrest, this book is definitely worth the read.
You will come out more inspired, and take away a lot of useful information from this book.
It’s an awesome book to read the start of the new year.
I received an advance review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This effortlessly easy to read “Guide” to Intuition can show you the way from darkness to light. Sarah’s Pelaez’s book fell into my lap just when I needed it the most. It answered questions I was craving to understand in the most simple way. Suited for both beginner and advanced travellers of the vast inner world we all have, this book will be your torch and your counsellor on every step of the way. I am fascinated by the way the book combines a theoretical and practical approach, providing a solid foundation of the ‘concept’ of intuition, and then dozens of exercises how to tap into this magical well of wisdom. If you want to start transforming your life, and live in a state of flow, this book will be your best friend on this journey.
I have been intuitive all my life, but more so from the spiritual wave of the late-90s. Since then I have devoured book after book trying to understand a world that exists alongside us. I have made acquaintances, now friends, who have shed light on so much. I assumed this was me following my life path, but now know, having read The Psychology of Intuition, that more is at play.
The theory behind intuition has made me think more about what is unseen. The curiosity factor has doubled, and my experiences have apt words associated with them.
Thank you Sarah, for the advanced reader copy, and hope that this review does the book much justice. Once I started reading, I could not put it down. It is a great resource for the world of intuition.
